La Vie en Vogue: Charlotte Gainsbourg to guest edit French title
Wednesday, October 03, 2007 (PARIS) – The Balenciaga front row boasted French film legends including Catherine Deneuve and Isabelle Huppert, as well as Charlotte Gainsbourg, who was sitting next to photographer Cindy Sherman. Gainsbourg was busy at work however, taking notes and commiserating with Carine Roitfeld’s French Vogue team. The reason? « I’m guest editing the December issue, » Gainsbourg revealed. « I’m really nervous, but also very excited. » Gainsbourg joins a long line of fashionable subjects, including Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Kate Moss, and John Galliano, all of whom have held the rare honors.
